About this house sitting position in Wymondham, Norwich

We’re looking for a sitter to give a little love to our pets and houseplants whilst away on holiday for a week week at the end of May (short notice as we’re eloping!). Our travel dates are fixed, however you’re welcome to stay for a few days before and/or after those dates if that’s helpful.

We have a lovely 3 bed semi detached home in a market town just south of Norwich (10 minute drive from the city centre). The house is fairly new so very warm and comfortable. There is a dishwasher and washing machine available for use. A bathroom and a separate en suite shower. South facing rear garden and beautiful walks from the front door. Wifi and smart TV with Netflix, Prime, Disney, PS4. Mountain bike can be used. Driveway parking for 2 vehicles plus free street parking. This is a non smoking home.

The town has a train station (30 minute walk) and buses that run in to the city centre and elsewhere. The home is a great base for visiting the beautiful Norfolk coast (less than 1 hour travel time to coastal locations), Norfolk Broads, and less than 15 minutes to some great countryside and woodland walks. Norwich itself is a lovely compact city with some fantastic restaurants and a rich history.

We have four lovely pets that would adore some company whilst we’re away on holiday. Farley is an incredibly good natured 10 year old lab who enjoys long walks but only needs 30 minutes a day as a minimum. She is very chilled and doesn’t get anxious being left for longer periods of time (up to 6 hours). Farley is a very easy dog to take anywhere - she really enjoys riding in the car and is well behaved in other homes, pubs etc.

Boy is a very cute Scottishfold housecat. He’s very low maintenance and just needs his food topped up and fresh water daily, his litter tray scooped occasionally, and snuggles. Boy has a great little personality and everyone falls in love with him. He has no road sense so must stay in the house (but can go out in the back garden).

The bunnies, Oscar and Alfie, just need to be let out in to their runs in the morning and fed/watered in the evening. They do enjoy human company but will happily entertain themselves eating grass all day!

We have used lovely sitters through this site before who found the pets extremely easy to care for.
